In “Light Fields,” I continue the ongoing journey to capture the essence of place through the refined language of color and light. Inspired by the subtle complexity of Rothko, Albers, and Wolf Kahn, this exhibition leans deeper into abstraction. By saying more with less, while still maintaining the details of texture and mark-making, each minimalist canvas invites the viewer to experience a distilled and profound sense of place. It reveals the power of color and light in their purest yet most texturally nuanced forms.
